Field notes
Shorter dispatches from counsel. Field notes are faster, narrower, and less ceremonial than letters or articles, but they still appear only when the firm has a real note to publish.
No note without a real note.
The page does not manufacture dispatches for the sake of filling a grid. The first note below exists because it is a real, published dispatch with its own route and document surface.
The archive stays deliberate.
A field note is not a placeholder article and not a disguised marketing card. It is a dated observation recorded while the issue is still fresh enough to be useful in its short form.
The archive is allowed to remain sparse. A note appears here only when it can stand on its own as a real dispatch, with enough substance to be worth filing and enough restraint to stay readable later.
